Two‐Dimensional Free Surface Flow Through Solid Walls With Surface Tension Effects
We examine the two‐dimensional, steady, and irrotational flow of an inviscid and incompressible fluid emerging from certain cases of flow through solid walls. Surface tension (T) is considered, while gravitational effects are neglected.

Hydrodynamic discontinuities in an external potential and incompressible flow are investigated. Using the reaction front as an example in a 2D stream, an overdetermined system of equations is obtained that describes its motion in terms of the surface ...

AC field effect flow control of EOF in complex microfluidic systems with integrated electrodes [PDF]
In this work, we demonstrate that positive net flow can be induced and controlled with relatively low potential due to the parallel alignment of the integrated channel electrodes.

ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

ABSTRACT In pediatric patients, T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) survival exceeds 80%. Relapse remains associated with limited curative options. Frontline treatment is largely extrapolated from T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) treatment, reflecting the ongoing debate, whether both entities represent distinct diseases or variants within ...

Carefully chosen complex variable formulations can solve flow in fractured porous media. Such a calculus approach is attractive, because the gridless method allows for fast, high-resolution model results.

Potential for gene-flow from cultivated Irish grasses and cereals [PDF]
End of project reportThe importance of gene movement from cultivated plants has been highlighted in regard to minimising the movement of seed and/or pollen between GM and non-GM crops (i.e. gene flow). Although ryegrass covers in excess of 90% of Ireland’

Diagnostic Potential of Imaging Flow Cytometry.
Imaging flow cytometry (IFC) captures multichannel images of hundreds of thousands of single cells within minutes. IFC is seeing a paradigm shift from low- to high-information-content analysis, driven partly by deep learning algorithms.

ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.
