Brazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases, 2006 A 55-year-old physician had a PPD made as part of a clinical evaluation. Laboratory tests were unremarkable and PPD, read in 48 hours, showed an area of induration of 18 mm and an erythema of 51 mm (Panel A).
