Intrinsic Colors, Temperatures, and Bolometric Corrections of Pre-Main Sequence Stars
We present an analysis of the intrinsic colors and temperatures of 5-30 Myr old pre-main sequence (pre-MS) stars using the F0 through M9 type members of nearby, negligibly reddened groups: Eta Cha cluster, TW Hydra Association, Beta Pic Moving Group, and

Clumpy accretion onto pre-main-sequence stars [PDF]
Medium-resolution spectroscopic observations covering the range 5150-9100 A are made of five premain-sequence stars in the Corona Australis star-forming region. They are the known variable stars R CrA, S CrA, T CrA, TY CrA, and VV CrA. During the week of observation significant changes, sometimes occurring between successive nights, were observed in ...

Massive pre-main sequence stars in M17 [PDF]
AbstractWe have obtained optical to near-infrared (300-2500 nm) VLT/X-shooter spectra of six candidate mYSOs, deeply embedded in the massive star forming region M17. These mYSO candidates have been identified based on their infrared excess and spectral features (double-peaked emission lines, CO band-head emission) indicating the presence of a disk ...

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

The initial period function of late-type binary stars and its variation
The variation of the period distribution function of late-type binaries is studied. It is shown that the Taurus--Auriga pre-main sequence population and the main sequence G dwarf sample do not stem from the same parent period distribution with better ...

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Active Young Stars in the LAMOST–Kepler Survey
In the early stages of their lives, young stars harbor diverse processes exhibiting strong signatures, making them ideal targets for investigating stellar accretion, dynamo actions, and exoplanet formation.

NGC 2362: a Template for Early Stellar Evolution [PDF]
We present UBVRI photometry for the young open cluster NGC 2362. From analysis of the appropriate color-color and color-magnitude diagrams we derive the fundamental parameters of the NGC 2362 cluster to be: age = 5 (+1-2) Myr, distance = 1480 pc, E(B-V ...

Pre-Main Sequence Stars Seen by ISO [PDF]
Observations of pre-main sequence objects (T Tauri, Herbig Ae/Be and FU Orionis stars) obtained with the instrumentation on board the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) are reviewed. All the observations have been mainly carried out by using the two spectrographs SWS and LWS, adopting their low resolution modes and such data have been used both for lines
