Sex Matters: Hormonal and Chromosomal Determinants of Autoimmunity and Anti‐Cancer Immunity Across the Lifespan

open access: yesImmunological Reviews, Volume 338, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Sex plays a key role in shaping both anti‐cancer immunity and autoimmunity. Aging‐Driven Inter‐Organ Crosstalk in Postmenopausal Osteoporosis: From Immunometabolic Drift to Multisystem Frailty

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) is increasingly recognized as an aging‐associated, multisystem state of fragility, in which estrogen deficiency exacerbates immune and metabolic drift across the bone marrow, skeletal muscle, adipose tissue, gut, vascular system, and neural circuits.
