This study relies on the development of a new sensor that can detect two closely related proteins involved in Alzheimer's disease at the same time. Unlike traditional methods, it works in natural conditions and does not require sample pretreatment. The device is highly sensitive and was successfully tested on patient samples, offering promises for ...

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Salt pretreatment alleviated salt-induced photoinhibition in sweet sorghum
Sweet sorghum is an important energy crop. This study aimed to investigate the effects of salt pretreatment on the interaction between photosystem II (PSII) and photosystem I (PSI) upon salt stress. In this study, sweet sorghum was pretreated with 150 mM

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.
