Two-point Functions in Affine Current Algebra and Conjugate Weights

open access: yes, 1998
The two-point functions in affine current algebras based on simple Lie algebras are constructed for all representations, integrable or non-integrable.

On Primary Relations at Tree-level in String Theory and Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
By the use of cyclic symmetry, KK relations and BCJ relations, one can reduce the number of independent $N$-point color-ordered tree amplitudes in gauge theory and string theory from $N!$ to $(N-3)!$. In this paper, we investigate these relations at tree-level in both string theory and field theory.

Primary scalar hair in dilatonic theories with modulus fields [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2000
We study the general spherical symmetric solutions of dilaton-modulus gravity non-minimally coupled to a Maxwell field, using methods from the theory of dynamical systems. We show that the solutions can be classified by the mass, the electric charge, and a third parameter which we argue can be related to a scalar charge.

Development of a simple and effective online training for health workers: results from a pilot in Nigeria

open access: yesBMC Public Health, 2022
Background Health workers (HWs) in Africa face challenges accessing and learning from existing online training opportunities. To address these challenges, we developed a modular, self-paced, mobile-ready and work-relevant online course covering ...

A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

Management of chlamydia and gonorrhoea infections diagnosed in primary care using a centralised nurse-led telephone-based service: mixed methods evaluation

open access: yesBMC Family Practice, 2020
Background Up to 18% of genital Chlamydia infections and 9% of Gonorrhoea infections in England are diagnosed in Primary Care. Evidence suggests that a substantial proportion of these cases are not managed appropriately in line with national guidelines ...
