TGF‐β has a complex role in cancer, exhibiting both tumor‐suppressive and tumor‐promoting properties. Using a series of differentiated tumoroids, derived from different stages and mutational background of colorectal cancer patients, we replicate this duality of TGF‐β in vitro. Notably, the atypical but highly aggressive KRASQ22K mutation rendered early‐

Irregularities in the distributions of primes in function fields
AbstractWe adapt the Maier matrix method to the polynomial ring Fq[t], and prove analogues of results of Maier [H. Maier, Primes in short intervals, Michigan Math. J. 32 (1985) 221–225] and Shiu [D.K.L. Shiu, Strings of congruent primes, J. London Math. Soc. 61 (2000) 359–373] concerning the distribution of primes in short intervals.

Chronic TGF‐β exposure drives epithelial HCC cells from a senescent state to a TGF‐β resistant mesenchymal phenotype. This transition is characterized by the loss of Smad3‐mediated signaling, escape from senescence, enhanced invasiveness and metastatic potential, and upregulation of key resistance modulators such as MARK1 and GRM8, ultimately promoting

We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.

A Hardware-Accelerated ECDLP with High-Performance Modular Multiplication
Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) has become a popular public key cryptography standard. The security of ECC is due to the difficulty of solving the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP).

Function field analogues of Bang-Zsigmondy's theorem and Feit's theorem [PDF]
In the number field context, Bang-Zsigmondy's theorem states that for any integers $u, m > 1$, there exists a prime divisor $p$ of $u^m - 1$ such that $p$ does not divide $u^n - 1$ for every integer $0 < n < m$ except in some exceptional cases that can be explicitly determined. A prime $p$ satisfying the conditions in Bang-Zsigmondy's theorem is called

Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells
