Tanner (3, 23)-Regular QC-LDPC Codes: Cycle Structure and Girth Distribution
This paper studies a class of quasi-cyclic LDPC (QC-LDPC) codes, i.e., Tanner (3, 23)-regular QC-LDPC codes of code length $23p$ with $p$ being a prime and $p \equiv 1 (\mathrm {mod} 69)$ .

Chromatic priming in hemianopic visual fields
In three monkeys made hemianopic by unilateral striate cortical ablation, in one normal monkey and in a human hemianope (GY), we measured reaction times to chromatic targets presented in the normal hemifield as a function of prior chromatic primes in the blind field. The first of our three tasks showed an unspecific priming effect in that the colour of

Constructing Prime-Field Planar Configurations [PDF]
An infinite class of planar configurations is constructed with distinct prime-field characteristic sets (i.e., configurations represented over a finite set of prime fields but over fields of no other characteristic). It is shown that if p

Projective prime ideals and localisation in pi-rings [PDF]
The results here generalise [2, Proposition 4.3] and [9, Theorem 5.11]. We shall prove the following. THEOREM A. Let R be a Noetherian PI-ring. Let P be a non-idempotent prime ideal of R such that PR is projective. Then P is left localisable and RP is

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

A high speed processor for elliptic curve cryptography over NIST prime field
Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), as one of the public key cryptography systems, has been widely applied to many security applications. It is challenging to implement a scalar multiplication (SM) operation which has the highest computational complexity ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
