Some various inequalities Involving Prime Numbers Counting Function

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper we find some inequalities concerning π(x) by considering some known inequalities involving it and some inequalities between important ...

The Number of Prime Numbers and Twin Prime Numbers Is Infinite

open access: yes
A prime number graphic method is proposed. In the coordinate system, the prime number and its multiple points are represented by the prime number span-arc. Other points that cannot be determined as the prime number or the composite number are called undetermined points, so as to obtain the prime number generation process diagram represented by the ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Prime Numbers Conjecture

open access: yes, 2020
It appears that every prime number greater than 3 can be represented as a sum of two (if a twin prime) + 0 (Goldbach's conjecture), or 3 prime numbers (Vinogradov's theorem), with the index of the sum prime equal the sum of indices of first two primes in

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Prime numbers between squares [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
A well known conjecture about the distribution of primes asserts that between two consecutive squares there is always at least one prime number. The proof of this conjecture is out of reach at present, even under the assumption of the Riemann Hypothesis.

A Problem concerning Prime Numbers

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, I explore the following problem: Problem. Find instances where a product of distinct prime numbers is an integer multiple of the sum of the same prime numbers.

Subsets of prime numbers received by means of generalized arithmetic progression

open access: yesДифференциальная геометрия многообразий фигур, 2018
A short historical information about formulas and polynomials generating subsets of prime numbers is given. Examples of subsets of prime numbers by using generalized arithmetic progression are obtained.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
