Passive Aeroelastic Tailored Wing Modal Test Using the Fixed Base Correction Method [PDF]

open access: yes
In modal testing and finite element model correlation, analysts desire modal results using free-free or rigid boundary conditions to ease comparisons of test versus analytical data.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Fire and heat resistant laminating resins based on maleimido and citraconimido substituted 1-(diorgano oxyphosphonyl) methyl -2,4- and -2,6- diaminobenzenes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
A class of fire and heat resistant bisimide resins prepared by thermal polymerization of maleimido or citraconimido substituted 1-((dialkoxyphosphonyl) methyl)-2-4 and -2,6-diaminobenzenes are described. The polymer precursors are prepared by reacting 1-(

Analysis of operation parameters of partial backfilling in the context of selective coal mining [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Purpose is to determine factors of effect of mechanical parameters and geometry of packs, constructed using the undercut rocks in the process of selective coal mining, on the state of geomechanical system within a mine working-stope junction during a ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Aluminum Phosphate Vaccine Adjuvant: Analysis of Composition and Size Using Off-Line and In-Line Tools

open access: yesComputational and Structural Biotechnology Journal, 2019
Purpose: Aluminum-based adjuvants including aluminum phosphate (AlPO4) are commonly used in many human vaccines to enhance immune response. The interaction between the antigen and adjuvant, including the physical adsorption of antigen, may play a role in

Using a Multiple-Case Studies Design to Investigate the Information-Seeking Behavior of Arts Administrators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The case study method, and in particular the multiple???case studies design, offers LIS researchers a proven tool for achieving a deep understanding of a specific phenomenon???-for example, the information- seeking behavior of a particular user group.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

AC-driven double quantum dots as spin pumps and spin filters

open access: yes, 2005
We propose and analyze a new scheme of realizing both spin filtering and spin pumping by using ac-driven double quantum dots in the Coulomb blockade regime.

Pattern formation in a ring cavity with temporally incoherent feedback [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We present a theoretical and experimental study of modulation instability and pattern formation in a passive nonlinear optical cavity that is longer than the coherence length of the light circulating in it.
