Cross‐Modal Denoising and Integration of Spatial Multi‐Omics Data with CANDIES
In this paper, we introduce CANDIES, which leverages a conditional diffusion model and contrastive learning to effectively denoise and integrate spatial multi‐omics data. We conduct extensive evaluations on diverse synthetic and real datasets, CANDIES shows superior performance on various downstream tasks, including denoising, spatial domain ...

Competence, specification and commitment to an olfactory placode fate [PDF]
The nasal placode shares a common origin with other sensory placodes within a pre-placodal domain at the cranial neural plate border. However, little is known about early events in nasal placode development as it segregates from prospective lens, neural ...

PAIR: Reconstructing Single‐Cell Open‐Chromatin Landscapes for Transcription Factor Regulome Mapping
scATAC‐seq analysis is often constrained by limited sequencing depth, extreme sparsity, and pervasive technical missingness. PAIR is a probabilistic framework that restores scATAC‐seq accessibility profiles by directly modeling the native cell–peak bipartite structure of chromatin accessibility.

Prenatal Diagnosis of Alobar Holoprosencephaly with Cystic Hygroma
Objective: Holoprosencephaly is a kind of brain anomaly characterized by inadequate cleavage of the prosencephalon during early embryogenesis. In addition, holoprosencephaly associated with cystic hygroma and hydrops fetalis has never been reported.

Neuromodulator Dynamics Underlying Associative Learning in the Ventral Striatum's Olfactory Tubercle
Using fiber photometry and genetically encoded sensors, the dynamic release patterns of four neuromodulators in the olfactory tubercle (OT)—a brain region overlapping with the olfactory cortex and ventral striatum—were systematically monitored in response to external rewards and distinct reward‐associated learning processes.

The restricted expression pattern of the POU factor Oct-6 during early development of the mouse nervous system [PDF]
Oce-6 is a POU transcription factor that is thought to play a role in the differentiation of cells of neuroectodermal origin. To investigate whether the Oct-6 protein could play a role in the establishment of neuroectoderm in vivo we studied the ...

Magnetomechanical neuromodulation using magnetic nanodiscs enables remote activation of neurons. In a hemiparkinsonian mouse model, alternating magnetic fields actuate the nanodiscs to generate torque that opens mechanosensitive ion channels within the subthalamic nucleus, thereby modulating basal ganglia motor circuitry.

Novel genes upregulated when NOTCH signalling is disrupted during hypothalamic development. [PDF]
International audienceBACKGROUND: The generation of diverse neuronal types and subtypes from multipotent progenitors during development is crucial for assembling functional neural circuits in the adult central nervous system.
