Abstract Background and Purpose β2‐adrenoceptor (β2AR) agonists are the cornerstone of asthma therapy and promote bronchodilation through Gαs signalling in airway smooth muscle (ASM), but their efficacy is limited by β‐arrestin‐mediated β2AR desensitization.

Lactate Accelerates Early Angiogenesis and Bone Regeneration Through Macrophage M1 Polarisation

During the early stage of bone defect healing, lactate accumulates and contributes to increasing NOD1 expression by stabilising HIF1α that in turn triggers a calcium influx, which ultimately polarises macrophages towards the M1 phenotype and accelerates vascularisation of endothelial cells.

Polyphosphate interaction with Hfq and RNA drives phase separation and amyloid self‐assembly, uncovering a previously unrecognized role for polyP in bacterial stress responses.
