Protein phosphatase 1 isoforms in differentiating C2C12 myocytes
In muscle protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) is involved in growth factor signal transduction and metabolic regulations. Three isoforms of the catalytic subunit are found in mammalian cells (PP1alpha, PP1gamma1 and PP1delta), with potentially different functions. We investigated the changes in the PP1 isoforms in differentiating C2C12 myoblasts.

This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
