A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

BRISC inactivation alleviates alcohol-induced liver injury in mice
BRCC3 isopeptidase complex (BRISC) is a JAMM subfamily deubiquitinase that has been revealed to be required for optional activation of NLRP3 inflammasome and TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway.

GDF2 and BMP10 coordinate liver cellular crosstalk to maintain liver health
The liver is the largest solid organ in the body and is primarily composed of hepatocytes (HCs), endothelial cells (ECs), Kupffer cells (KCs), and hepatic stellate cells (HSCs), which spatially interact and cooperate with each other to maintain liver ...

Monoclonal antibodies are powerful anticancer therapeutics targeting tumor‐associated antigens. Mass spectrometry enables precise and accurate quantification of mAbs in tumor plasma and healthy organs. Unlike ligand binding assay and radioactivity, mass spectrometry does not suffer from matrix effects and labelling artefacts while facilitating method ...

UCHL3 Regulates Subgenomic Flaviviral RNA Condensates to Promote Virus Propagation
ABSTRACT Flavivirus subgenomic RNAs (sfRNAs) antagonise antiviral defences, yet how sfRNAs are organized and maintained in cells remains poorly understood. Here we identify ubiquitin C‐terminal hydrolase L3 (UCHL3) as a post‐translational regulator of flavivirus sfRNA stability and function.

Establishment and characterization of a new mouse gastric carcinoma cell line, MCC
Background The aim of this study was to establish a primary mouse gastric carcinoma cell line. Methods Gastric adenocarcinoma in the body region was induced in immunocompetent BALB/c mice using N-Methyl-N-nitrosourea and a 2% NaCl solution. Fresh gastric

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

Comparative genomics of Gondwana‐diverged Pila and Pomacea reveals parallel evolution of aerial oviposition. Convergent chromosomal rearrangements reshape regulatory landscapes within topologically associating domains. Lineage‐specific gene family expansions and viral‐derived perivitelline proteins (PV1) underpin desiccation resistance.

Progress on the HUPO Draft Human Proteome: 2017 Metrics of the Human Proteome Project
The Human Proteome Organization (HUPO) Human Proteome Project (HPP) continues to make progress on its two overall goals: (1) completing the protein parts list, with an annual update of the HUPO draft human proteome, and (2) making proteomics an ...

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,
