On proton-proton bremsstrahlung [PDF]
Abstract The cross section for proton-proton bremsstrahlung has been calculated for soft photons in a model independent way. Comparison with experiments has been made.

A self-consistent value of the electric radius of the proton from the Lamb shift in muonic hydrogen
Recently a high-precision measurement of the Lamb shift in muonic hydrogen has been performed. An accurate value of the proton charge radius can be extracted from this datum with a high accuracy.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

A CGC/saturation approach for angular correlations in proton-proton scattering
We generalized our model for the description of hard processes, and calculate the value of the azimuthal angle correlations ( Fourier harmonics $v_n$ ), for proton-proton scattering. The energy and multiplicity independence, as well as the value of $v_n$,

Proton Wires in an Electric Field: the Impact of Grotthuss Mechanism on Charge Translocation
We present the results of the modeling of proton translocation in finite H-bonded chains in the framework of two-stage proton transport model. We explore the influence of reorientation motion of protons, as well as the effect of electric field and proton

A Systematic Comparison of Alpha‐Synuclein Seed Amplification Assays for Increasing Reproducibility
ABSTRACT Seed amplification assays (SAAs) enable ultrasensitive detection of misfolded α‐synuclein across biofluids and tissues. Yet, heterogeneity in protocols limits cross‐study comparability and clinical translation. Here, we review α‐synuclein SAA methods and their performance across various biological matrices.

Antiproton-Proton Channels in J/psi Decays
The recent measurements by the BES Collaboration of J/psi decays into a photon and a proton-antiproton pair indicate a strong enhancement at the proton-antiproton threshold not observed in the decays into a neutral pion and a proton-antiproton pair.

Advancing Age Modulates Associations Between Cognitive Impairment and Brain Volumes in Early MS
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment is common in multiple sclerosis (MS), but manifestations following the first demyelinating event are relatively unexplored. We investigated cross‐sectional associations between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)–derived brain volumes and the presence of cognitive impairment outcomes five years after the first ...
