Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Orbital‐Hybridizable Nanoseed Interphase Enables One‐Minute Rechargeable, Energy‐Dense Anode‐Free Aqueous Zinc Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An orbital‐hybridizable nanoseed (OHNS) interphase induces strong orbital hybridization between Zn and carbon edges, accelerating Zn nucleation while suppressing 2D surface diffusion. This interfacial electronic regulation drives uniform, dense, and (002)‐oriented Zn growth, enabling stable and fast charging behavior in anode‐free aqueous Zn batteries.

Inhibitors of Proton Pumping [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Physiology, 1986
Reported inhibitors of the Characean plasmalemma proton pump were tested for their ability to inhibit the passive H(+) conductance which develops in Chara corallina Klein ex Willd. at high pH. Diethylstilbestrol inhibits the proton pump and the passive H(+) conductance with about the same time course, at concentrations that have no effect on ...
