An approach to quantify and map the synthetic cannabinoid 5F‐ADB on a seized paper sample from a UK prison was determined using ultraperformance liquid chromatography–quadrupole Dalton–mass spectrometry.

Drug Testing and Analysis, EarlyView.A LC–MS/MS method has been validated for analysis of semi‐synthetic cannabinoids (SSC) and selected phytocannabinoids in seizures. Further SSC‐derivatives were implemented into the method for qualitative detection. The methodology was applied to a sample collective (n = 80) including cannabis flowers, resins, edibles and vape liquids.
