LURP1, a SARD1‐regulated protein, coordinates with the helper NLR ADR1 to promote plant immunity
The working model of LURP1 function in plant immunity. Upon pathogen infection, SARD1/CBP60g promotes the transcription of LURP1 directly. LURP1 likely functions as an adaptor protein that associates with the PRRs–BAK1 complexes at the plasma membrane (PM) while also interacts with the ADR1 family helper NLRs.

Abstract Background Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for radiation therapy treatment planning is currently being used in many anatomical sites to better visualize soft tissue landmarks, a technique known as an MRI simulation. A core component of modern MRI simulation configurations are the use of external laser positioning systems (ELPS) to help set up

Surface Obstacles in Ammonia Oxidation on Platinum: What Drives Catalyst Deactivation?
Unprecedented potential‐dependent stripping signatures (N2, NO, and N2O), unmask Pt poisoning species in ammonia oxidation reaction and underpin a stripping mechanism, revealing Pt surface oxide formation as the decisive driver of catalyst deactivation, dictating the AOR pathways and electrocatalytic activity, while simultaneously promoting the ...

A critical step, dry reforming of methane (DRM) converts biogas into useful syngas. Yet trace H2S in biogas rapidly poisons DRM catalysts, limiting practical use. We developed a robust Pt/CeO2 catalyst sustaining DRM activity via CO2‐induced reverse lattice oxygen spillover in H2S‐rich environments.

This study quantifies the influence of multidimensional effects on site response in the Wellington region of New Zealand by comparing results from different simulation approaches. Response‐spectral amplification functions from 1D and 2D site response analyses are compared to quantify the magnitude and spatial distribution of multidimensional effects ...

ABSTRACT Direct glycerol fuel cells (DGFCs) are a promising technology, but scaling them remains a challenge due to persistent technological and economic limitations. In this context, process simulation and modeling emerge as crucial tools. This study addresses the implementation of a conventional alkaline DGFC stack model in Aspen Plus and proposes a ...

ABSTRACT The study aimed to optimize the gas permeation properties of polymer nanocomposite membranes through a combination of experimental investigations and machine learning (ML) techniques. Initially, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and PAN‐polyethyleneimine (PAN‐PEI) nanocomposite membranes were fabricated and experimentally characterized to determine ...

Family–school partnership initiatives to improve student attendance: A systematic review
Abstract School absenteeism has significant social, academic and economic consequences, creating an urgent need to understand and address its rising prevalence. Absenteeism is shaped by factors across individual, family, school and community domains, and recent scholarship highlights the value of family–school–community partnerships in improving ...
