Three-dimensional single-shot ptychography [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Express, 2020
Here we introduce three-dimensional single-shot ptychography (3DSSP). 3DSSP leverages an additional constraint unique to the single-shot geometry to deconvolve multiple 2D planes of a 3D object. Numeric simulations and analytic calculations demonstrate that 3DSSP reconstructs multiple planes in an extended 3D object with a minimum separation consistent

Iterative X-ray spectroscopic ptychography [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, 2020
Spectroscopic ptychography is a powerful technique to determine the chemical composition of a sample with high spatial resolution. In spectro-ptychography, a sample is rastered through a focused X-ray beam with varying photon energy so that a series of phaseless diffraction data are recorded.

Enhancement of Partially Coherent Diffractive Images Using Generative Adversarial Network

open access: yesAI, 2022
We present a deep learning-based generative model for the enhancement of partially coherent diffractive images. In lensless coherent diffractive imaging, a highly coherent X-ray illumination is required to image an object at high resolution.

Direct 3D Tomographic Reconstruction and Phase-Retrieval of Far-Field Coherent Diffraction Patterns [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We present an alternative numerical reconstruction algorithm for direct tomographic reconstruction of a sample refractive indices from the measured intensities of its far-field coherent diffraction patterns.

A Parameter Refinement Method for Ptychography Based on Deep Learning Concepts

open access: yesCondensed Matter, 2021
X-ray ptychography is an advanced computational microscopy technique, which is delivering exceptionally detailed quantitative imaging of biological and nanotechnology specimens, which can be used for high-precision X-ray measurements.

Miniature Fourier Ptychography Microscope using Raspberry Pi Camera and Hardware [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We report a Fourier ptychography setup using a raspberry pi camera sensor and its lens in reversed configuration. In this work data acquisition was performed by means of a raspberry pi board which eliminates the requirement of a computer for data ...

Sensor Fusion in Ptychography

open access: yesOptica Advanced Photonics Congress 2022, 2022
We present a ptychography method to fuse data from two image sensors capturing different parts of the diffraction patterns and thereby extending the numerical aperture.

Ten implementations of ptychography [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, 2017
SummaryPtychography is an increasingly popular phase retrieval imaging technique, able to routinely deliver quantitative phase images with extended field of view at diffraction limited resolution. Different variants of this technique, like Bragg ptychography and Fourier ptychography, have also been developed and applied to various fields.

Wavelength-Multiplexed Single-Shot Ptychography [PDF]

open access: yesConference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 2020
We present multi-wavelength single-shot ptychography, a technique which is ideally suited for imaging dynamically evolving plasmas. Through improvements to single-shot ptychography and a novel probe constraint, wavelength-multiplexed single-shot ptychography was developed and experimentally realized.

Dynamic Imaging Using Ptychography [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2014
We demonstrate through experiment an example of "mixed state" reconstruction using x-ray ptychography. We demonstrate successful imaging of a vibrating sample that has dynamics that are of one order magnitude faster than the measurement times. We show how increased vibrational amplitude leads to an increased population of illumination modes, a ...
