Puromycin-induced retention deficit in goldfish as a function of attained training performance level [PDF]
Goldfish received either 20 or 50 active avoidance training trials followed by puromycin (or no-treatment) and 10 retraining trials either 1 or 7 days following training.

PRC2.1(PCL2)‐coordinated H3K27me3‐enriched PNH establishes a spatial scaffold crucial for nucleolar integrity. As a crucial coordinator, PCL2 links PRC2.1 to chromatin organization and NPM1 assembly. This network‐based model reveals how chromatin modifications and nucleolar components cooperatively maintain nucleolar architecture, revealing novel ...

Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors frequently silence MEN1 through epigenetic mechanisms. Here, SIRT7 recruits DNMT1 to the MEN1 promoter, drives hypermethylation, and enhances DNA repair. Inhibiting SIRT7 restores MEN1, reduces MRN complex abundance, impairs double‐strand break repair, and sensitizes PanNET models to radiation, supporting SIRT7 as a ...

An Enhanced Retroviral Vector for Efficient Genetic Manipulation and Selection in Mammalian Cells
Introducing genetic material into hard-to-transfect mammalian cell lines and primary cells is often best achieved through retroviral infection. An ideal retroviral vector should offer a compact, selectable, and screenable marker while maximizing ...

Bi-allelic Homology-Directed Repair with Helper-Dependent Adenoviruses
We describe a strategy to achieve footprintless bi-allelic homology-directed repair (HDR) using helper-dependent adenoviruses (HDAds). This approach utilizes two HDAds to deliver the donor DNA.

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

Renal structural abnormalities following recovery from acute puromycin nephrosis
Renal structural abnormalities following recovery from acute puromycin nephrosis.BackgroundRats that recover from acute puromycin nephrosis later develop widespread glomerular and tubulointerstitial injury. The current study sought to identify structural

A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

Effect of Puromycin on Mitotic Index, Amino Acid Incorporation and Dna Synthesis of Epidermal Cells
Puromycin 200 mg/kg given systemically will block DNA synthesis, amino acid incorporation and mitosis in the epidermis of the baby rat. Topically applied solutions of 1% puromycin did not have any effect on uptake of H3 thymidine or on mitosis of the ...

Sleeping Beauty Transposon-based System for Rapid Generation of HBV-replicating Stable Cell Lines
The stable HBV-transfected cell lines, which based on stable integration of replication-competent HBV genome into hepatic cells, are widely used in basic research and antiviral drug evaluation against HBV.
