Shear Behavior of Superposed Perfobond Connectors Considering Lateral Constraints
Superposed perfobond connectors are a type of connector used in composite structures. When the construction conditions are limited to increase the diameter of the opening, the shear capacity of the connector can be improved by enhancing the confining ...

Analysis of push-out test data based on interfacial fracture energy
Push-out testing is frequently used to assess the interfacial shear strength developed at a bone-biomaterial interface during in vivo experiments. The aim of the present research was to assess the in vivo performance of a novel substrate/coating combination and to introduce a more rigorous fracture mechanics analysis of the push-out test data.

Mechanical testing of titanium/aluminium–silicon interfaces by push-out [PDF]
Mechanical properties of Ti/Al–7Si assemblies produced by insert moulding were studied with a classical push-out test and a variant that is the circular-bending test. Special care has been taken for controlling both the reactivity at the Ti/Al–7Si interface and the metallurgical health of the Al–7Si matrix.
