CuO and CuPO (Cu2P2O7 and Cu3(PO4)2) as precursors are in suit construction two distinct copper‐based active sites during the NO3RR reaction: Cu1+/Cu0 (derived from CuO) and Cu2+/Cu0 (derived from CuPO). Cu1+/Cu0 is the key to achieving high activity and high selectivity.

Symmetries of Electrostatic Interaction between DNA Molecules
We study a model for pair interaction $U$ of DNA molecules generated by the discrete dipole moments of base-pairs and the charges of phosphate groups, and find noncommutative group of eighth order ${\cal S}$ of symmetries that leave $U$ invariant.

Structure of a putative NTP pyrophosphohydrolase: YP_001813558.1 from Exiguobacterium sibiricum 255-15. [PDF]
The crystal structure of a putative NTPase, YP_001813558.1 from Exiguobacterium sibiricum 255-15 (PF09934, DUF2166) was determined to 1.78 Å resolution. YP_001813558.1 and its homologs (dimeric dUTPases, MazG proteins and HisE-encoded phosphoribosyl ATP ...

A micronised, dispersible ferric pyrophosphate with high relative bioavailability in man [PDF]
Ferric pyrophosphate is a water-insoluble Fe compound used to fortify infant cereals and chocolate-drink powders as it causes no organoleptic changes to the food vehicle. However, it is only of low absorption in man.

This study demonstrates a cuproptosis mechanism involving nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH)‐reductive stress in neural cells. Copper activates dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase under mitochondrial pH, accumulating NADH. Copper also induces mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening, facilitating NADH translocation to the cytosol and ...

Fabrication of Composite Cathode for All‐Solid‐State Sodium Batteries
The design of composite cathodes for all‐solid‐state sodium batteries must address three critical challenges—interfacial side reactions, interfacial delamination, and highly tortuous transport pathways. This work outlines structural and interfacial strategies to optimize ion transport and mechanical stability, enabling durable, and high‐performance ...
