Fast loading ester fluorescent Ca2+ and pH indicators into pollen of Pyrus pyrifolia
Journal of Plant Research, 2011Loading of Ca(2+)-sensitive fluorescent probes into plant cells is an essential step to measure activities of free Ca(2+) ions in cytoplasm with a fluorescent imaging technique. Fluo-3 is one of the most suitable Ca(2+) indicators for CLSM. We loaded pollen with fluo-3/AM at three different temperatures. Fluo-3/AM was successfully loaded into pollen at

Shoot regeneration from cultured leaves of Japanese pear (Pyrus pyrifolia)
Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture, 1998Several experiments were conducted to investigate in vitro regeneration of adventious shoots from cultured leaves of Japanese pear (Pyrus pyrifolia). A protocol was developed and regeneration achieved from six cultivars. Leaves harvested from shoot cultures which had been preconditioned on B5 medium with 5 μM thidiazuron plus 0.25 μM gibberellic acid ...

Isolation and Characterization of an APETALA1-Like Gene from Pear (Pyrus pyrifolia)
Plant Molecular Biology Reporter, 2012To study the early steps of flower initiation and development in pear (Pyrus pyrifolia), a MADS-box gene, PpAP1, a putative APETALA1 (AP1) pear ortholog from Pyrus pyrifolia, was isolated. The deduced amino acid sequence of PpAP1 indicated high sequence identity with members of the MADS-box family of transcription factors, particularly the AP1/SQUA ...

SHOOT ORGANOGENESIS FROM LEAF EXPLANTS IN JAPANESE PEAR (PYRUS PYRIFOLIA)
Acta Horticulturae, 2004The effect of benzyladenine (BA) and thidiazuron (TDZ) in combination with -naphthaleneacetic acid and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) on in vitro shoot regeneration from leaf segments of several Japanese pears was investigated. A regeneration protocol was developed and regeneration was achieved from six cultivars: – ‘Kosui’, ‘Hosui’, ‘Niitaka’, ‘Wasekaso’,

[Region optimization of SSC model for Pyrus pyrifolia by genetic algorithm].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2010Genetic algorithm is widely used in NIRS data optimization, which is not limited by searching space. The region selecting by genetic algorithms (R-SGA)was applied in building calibration model of soluble solid content (SSC)of Pyrus pyrifolia, and the number of variables used to build calibration was further reduced from 2 075 to 690 in all of 3 models.
