Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

A Global Krylov Subspace Method for the Sylvester Quaternion Matrix Equation

open access: yesJournal of New Theory
This study concerns the Sylvester matrix equation in the quaternion setting when the coefficient matrices as well as the unknown matrix have quaternion entries.

Shuttle Program. Euler angles, quaternions, and transformation matrices working relationships [PDF]

open access: yes
A brief mathematical development of the relationship between the Euler angles and the transformation matrix, the quaternion and the transformation matrix, and the Euler angles and the quaternion is presented.

The Quaternion-Based Spatial Coordinate and Orientation Frame Alignment Problems

open access: yes, 2020
We review the general problem of finding a global rotation that transforms a given set of points and/or coordinate frames (the "test" data) into the best possible alignment with a corresponding set (the "reference" data).

Congruence of Quaternionic Skew-Hermitian Matrices

open access: yesIrish Mathematical Society Bulletin, 1997
Any two non-singular skew-hermitian forms over the real quaternions are isometric if they have the same dimension. The author gives an elementary proof, in matrix terms, of this well-known theorem.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

QUATERNION MATRIX IN NONLINEAR DYNAMICS OF HIGH-SPEED TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

open access: yesNauka ta progres transportu, 2009
The system of four quaternion matrices for presentation of main relationships of the theory of final rotation, kinematics and nonlinear dynamics of an asymmetric solid body in a three-dimensional space is presented.

Color restoration of images through high order zeroing neural networks [PDF]

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences
One of the fundamental tasks in pattern recognition is color image restoration. Every color image has three channels in the RGB color space, in contrast to grayscale images.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
