Biomimetic Nanomedicine for Senescence‐Modulated Immune Activation Enhances Immunotherapy Efficacy in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional mPDZM nanoplatform is developed in this study. mPDZM integrates chemotherapy‐induced senescence, selective senolysis, and STING‐mediated immune activation. mPDZM effectively clears senescent tumor cells, remodels the tumor immune microenvironment, and enhances antitumor T‐cell responses.

Exploration of the optimal concentration of quercetin liposome nanoparticles for the treatment of liver damage

open access: yesBMC Pharmacology and Toxicology
Background Hepatic injury is a common pathological process for a wide spectrum of liver diseases. Quercetin has been found to counteract this process by scavenging free radicals, but its therapeutic effect is limited due to poor water-solubility.

Engineering Immune Cell to Counteract Aging and Aging‐Associated Diseases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review highlights a paradigm shift in which advanced immune cell therapies, initially developed for cancer, are now being harnessed to combat aging. By engineering immune cells to selectively clear senescent cells and remodel pro‐inflammatory tissue microenvironments, these strategies offer a novel and powerful approach to delay age‐related ...

Absorption of dietary quercetin glycosides and quercetin in healthy ileostomy volunteers

open access: yesThe American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 1995
Quercetin is a dietary antioxidant that prevents oxidation of low-density lipoproteins in vitro. Intake of quercetin was inversely associated with coronary heart disease mortality in elderly Dutch men. However, the extent of absorption of quercetin in humans is unclear.
