Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

The cg Package for Comparison of Groups

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Software, 2013
In research of medicines, the comparison of treatments, test articles, conditions, administrations, etc., is very common. Studies are completed, and the data are then most often analyzed with a default mixture of equal variance t tests, analysis of ...

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Factor Analysis for Multiple Testing (FAMT): An R Package for Large-Scale Signi

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Software, 2011
The R package FAMT (factor analysis for multiple testing) provides a powerful method for large-scale significance testing under dependence. It is especially designed to select differentially expressed genes in microarray data when the correlation ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

El factor de modificación de respuesta, R, para edificios de período corto

open access: yesRevista de I + D Tecnológico, 2002
La aplicación del Factor de Modificación de Respuesta, R, en la estimación del cortante sísmico basal (ATC-3-06), reconoce la habilidad de una estructura para disipar energía en el rango inelástico.

Computing the R of the QR factorization of tall and skinny matrices using MPI_Reduce [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A QR factorization of a tall and skinny matrix with n columns can be represented as a reduction. The operation used along the reduction tree has in input two n-by-n upper triangular matrices and in output an n-by-n upper triangular matrix which is ...

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Estimation of soil erosion using revised universal soil loss equation (RUSLE) and GIS in the Surma watershed, Omo Basin, Ethiopia

open access: yesDiscover Environment
Soil erosion is a critical environmental issue, particularly in developing regions like Ethiopia, where agricultural practices and deforestation exacerbate land degradation.
