Radiofluorination and reductive amination using a microfluidic device

Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals, 2012
A commercial microfluidic device (NanoTek, Advion) was used as a synthesis platform for the preparation of fluorine‐18 labelled tertiary amines in two consecutive steps. Firstly, the nucleophilic radiofluorination of an aromatic aldehyde and secondly, the reductive amination to produce the corresponding amine.

No-carrier-added electrochemical nucleophilic radiofluorination of aromatics

Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 2014
Direct nucleophilic radiosynthesis of di-tert-butyl-(4-[18F]fluoro-1,2-phenylene)-dicarbonate was conducted through no-carrier-added electrochemical reactions. 10 mM of triethylamine acetic acid (Et3N·3HAc) in acetonitrile was used to release [18F]fluoride ion trapped in the quaternary ammonium anion exchange resin.

Synthesis of Dibenzothiophenium Salts and Observations in Radiofluorination

Synlett
AbstractWe demonstrate an alternative synthesis of dibenzothiophenium (DBT) salts through a three-step Pd-catalyzed arylation, oxidation, and cyclization sequence. This approach is operationally straightforward and compatible with a variety of common functional groups.

Legumain-Triggered Macrocyclization of Radiofluorinated Tracer for Enhanced PET Imaging

Bioconjugate Chemistry
Enhancing the accumulation and retention of small-molecule probes in tumors is an important way to achieve accurate cancer diagnosis and therapy. Enzyme-stimulated macrocyclization of small molecules possesses great potential for enhanced positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of tumors.
