Hidden lineages in the African Sky Islands: A taxonomic reevaluation of Afrocarduus (Compositae)

Using Hyb‐Seq and phylogenomics, we reassessed Afrocarduus, endemic to Afromontane and Afroalpine regions, uncovering 16 evolutionary lineages (2.3 Mya).
