Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Geometric Models for Isotropic Random Porous Media: A Review
Models for random porous media are considered. The models are isotropic both from the local and the macroscopic point of view; that is, the pores have spherical shape or their surface shows piecewise spherical curvature, and there is no macroscopic ...

Field theory of self-avoiding walks in random media
Based on the analogy with the quantum mechanics of a particle propagating in a {\em complex} potential, we develop a field-theoretical description of the statistical properties of a self-avoiding polymer chain in a random environment.

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Lensless imaging based on coherent backscattering in random media
We studied lensless imaging due to coherent backscattering in random media both theoretically and experimentally. The point spread function of the lensless imaging system was derived.

Random walks in random media [PDF]
In this thesis we study three RWIRE models. A RWIRE is simply a random walk where the transition rates are themselves random variables. The first model studied is a unit jump non directed RWIRE in discrete and continuous time. Results are presented for the "speed" of the RWIRE in discrete time.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Random Laser Action in Dye-Doped Polymer Media with Inhomogeneously Distributed Particles and Gain
The properties of random lasing are investigated for bubble-structure (BS) dye-doped polymer random media in which non-scattering and no-gain regions are distributed.

Mesoscopic Modeling of Random Walk and Reactions in Crowded Media
We develop a mesoscopic modeling framework for diffusion in a crowded environment, particularly targeting applications in the modeling of living cells. Through homogenization techniques we effectively coarse-grain a detailed microscopic description into ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.
