We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Leakage Immune Modified Pass Transistor Based 8T SRAM Cell in Subthreshold Region
The paper presents a novel 8T SRAM cell with access pass gates replaced with modified PMOS pass transistor logic. In comparison to 6T SRAM cell, the proposed cell achieves 3.5x higher read SNM and 2.4x higher write SNM with 16.6% improved SINM (static ...

Exploring the Venus global super-rotation using a comprehensive general circulation model
The atmospheric circulation in Venus is well known to exhibit strong super-rotation. However, the atmospheric mechanisms responsible for the formation of this super-rotation are still not fully understood.

Stability of reading and spelling difficulties
Abstract Reading and spelling can be impaired selectively and combined. Research with German-speaking children demonstrated that reading problems are stable over time, while many children with spelling difficulties improve their skills (Moll et al., 2020).

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

More than mere numbers: The impact of lethal control on the social stability of a top-order predator [PDF]
Population control of socially complex species may have profound ecological implications that remain largely invisible if only their abundance is considered.
