Sharkovskii's Theorem Under Set-Valued Functions
Sharkovskii's remarkable theorem from 1964 demonstrated significant results about periodic orbits of continuous functions on the real line. His work produced the Sharkovskii ordering. If m >> n in the Sharkovskii ordering and if f has a periodic orbit

Nonlinear Chebyshev approximation to set-valued functions [PDF]
In this paper, we give a characterization of best Chebyshev approximation to set-valued functions from a family of continuous functions with the weak betweeness property.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A Korovkin type approximation theorem for set-valued functions
This paper is a contribution to the problem of approximating continuous functions F F defined on a compact Hausdorff space X X , where the value F ( x ) F(x) is a compact ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Optimization of Set-Valued Functions
[[abstract]]Let X, Y, and Z be real topological vector spaces and Ec X be a convex set. CY, DZ are to be pointed convex cones. Let F: X → 2Y be C-convex and G: X → 2Z be D-convex set-valued functions.

Lagrangian Duality for Preinvex Set-Valued Functions
In this paper, generalizing the concept of cone convexity, we have defined cone preinvexity for set-valued functions and given an example in support of this generalization. A Farkas–Minkowski type theorem has been proved for these functions. A Lagrangian

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
