Cationic cobalt-catalyzed [1,3]-rearrangement of N-alkoxycarbonyloxyanilines
A cationic cobalt catalyst efficiently promoted the reaction of N-alkoxycarbonyloxyanilines at 30 °C, affording the corresponding ortho-aminophenols in good to high yields.

Ethyl 5-(4-Bromophenyl)-4-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate
This note describes a sequence converting an oxime-substituted pyrrolidine into a trisubstituted pyrrole structure. The synthetic route is based on a double chlorination of the pyrrolidine substrate followed by the base induced formation of both an imine

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

On an analog of the M.G. Krein theorem for measurable operators
Let M be a von Neumann algebra of operators on a Hilbert space H and τ be a faithful normal semifinite trace on M. Let μt(T), t > 0, be a rearrangement of a τ-measurable operator T. Let us consider a τ-measurable operator A, such that μt(A) > 0 for all t

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Rearrangements of dicarba-nido-undecaborates
The thermal and chemically initiated thermal rearrangements of dicarba-nido-undecaborates was explored by computational chemistry. It was shown that the kinetic stability of dianions of these compounds is reduced in the series 2,9 > 7,8 > 1,7 > ...

Summary: The immature brain is highly susceptible to seizures. The heightened susceptibility to seizures appears to be due, at least in part, to developmental changes that skew the balance between excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitter systems in the brain in favor of a state of excitation.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Next-Generation Sequencing Technologies for Early-Stage Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma
The diagnosis of early stage cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is often difficult, particularly in mycosis fungoides (MF), because the clinical presentation, histological findings, and laboratory findings of MF resemble those of inflammatory skin diseases such ...
