Transfer RNA‐Derived Small RNA‐5’tiRNAGln Drives HNRNPC Phase Separation to Promote Breast Cancer Bone Metastasis by Regulating IGF1R

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that 5'tiRNA‐Gln interacts with hnRNPC to promote IGF1R liquid‐liquid phase separation, which drives ERK1/2 signaling activation, EMT, and breast cancer bone metastasis. These findings highlight a novel mechanism of breast cancer bone metastasis and potential therapeutic target in metastatic breast cancer.

ESTROGEN AND PROGESTERONE RECEPTORS IN VERNAL KERATOCONJUNCTIVITIS

open access: yes, 1995
Purpose: Sex-related influences have been implicated in the pathogenesis of vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC), an allergic eosinophilic disease. Methods: The authors evaluated tarsal and bulbar conjunctival biopsies from seven patients with severe and ...

Drug Repurposing for Treating NCOR‐Related Intellectual Disability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An autism‐associated NCOR1 heterozygous mutation upregulates NRGs and activates NRG backward signaling in hypothalamic GABAergic neurons in mouse models, leading to Gabra2 downregulation and cognitive deficits, which can be therapeutically targeted by repurposing FDA‐approved drugs.

Progesterone reduces cell survival in primary cultures of endometrioid ovarian cancer

open access: yesJournal of Ovarian Research, 2019
Background Ovarian cancer is the most lethal of all gynecologic malignancies. The relationship between sexual steroids receptors and ovarian cancer progression has been largely evaluated. The presence of progesterone receptors has been associated with an

Structural Control of Stromal‐Immune Coupling by COL24A1 Underlies Pregnancy Maintenance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
COL24A1 emerges as a collagen‐associated regulator of maternal‐fetal interface homeostasis. Its deficiency promotes a maladaptive TIMP1‐high stromal state, impaired ECM turnover, collagen accumulation, and stromal–immune dysregulation, contributing to pregnancy loss.

Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of breast in a 69-year-old woman with positive hormone receptors, the first case reported

open access: yesCaspian Journal of Internal Medicine, 2021
Background: Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma is a relatively uncommon histological subtype of breast cancer that is a cystic form of papillary mucinous carcinoma.  It is regularly negative for estrogen and progesterone receptors and it is most often diagnosed

Bioengineered Stroma‐Camouflaged Nanovesicles Disrupt the IDO1/CD276 Immunosuppressive Circuit to Reinvigorate Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bioengineered stroma‐camouflaged nanovesicles (AM@UIO‐BMS/DOX) convert the immunosuppressive tumor niche into an immunoresponsive milieu by disrupting the IDO1/CD276 circuit. Anti‐CD276 membrane camouflage guides tumor accumulation and deep penetration, enabling controlled co‐delivery of DOX and the IDO1 inhibitor BMS‐986205.

MPP8 Facilitates DNA DSB Repair via NHEJ to Promote Chemoresistance of TNBC Independent of Methyl‐H3K9 Binding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chemoresistance is often linked to elevated DNA repair. MPP8 is found to promote breast cancer chemoresistance as a novel NHEJ accessory factor independent of its epigenetic functions. Through multiple protein interactions, MPP8 facilitates association of DNAPK and ligase complexes to promote DNA repair progression.

An Engineered Supramolecular Pathway for Enhanced Electrochemiluminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular electrochemiluminescent (ECL) system is presented in which cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) is covalently linked to [Ru(bpy)3]2+, forming a recognition‐responsive emitter. Host‒guest preorganization of tri‐n‐propylamine enables intramolecular ECL, boosting intensity by 162% compared to the standard system.
