Differentiation of naive human CD4+ T cells into Th2 cells: The role of prostaglandin E2

open access: yesAllergology International, 1999
T-helper (Th) 2 cells, which produce interleukin (IL)-4, IL-5, IL-10 and IL-13 upon stimulation of their T cell receptors, play an important role in the development of human allergic diseases.

Characterization of signalling cross-talk between the EP2 and FP receptors in endometrial epithelial cells

open access: yes, 2009
Uterine fibroids are benign tumors that arise from the smooth-muscle uterine cells (myometrium) and are the most common uterine disorder occurring in as many as 30% of women over 35 years of age. Despite their frequent occurrence, the etiology of uterine

A Skull Bone Marrow‐to‐Brain Axis Links Osteoblastic Activity to Myeloid Cell Trafficking, Cerebral Blood Flow, and Cognition in Alzheimer's Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that Alzheimer's disease–linked APP expression in bone‐forming cells drives skull bone marrow remodeling and alters its vascular connections to the brain. These changes disrupt immune cell trafficking, cerebral blood flow, and cognition. Targeting bone marrow macrophages restores brain function, highlighting a previously unrecognized

Prostaglandins and Their Receptors: Implications for Ovarian Physiology

open access: yesNeurosignals, 1996
The ovarian response to the stimulatory actions of pituitary gonadotropins is modulated by the local production and action of local factors. Current advances in biochemical and molecular research techniques have facilitated the progress in our understanding of how prostaglandins (PGs) are inherently involved in the physiological events influencing ...

Sulfated Cyclocarya Paliurus Polysaccharide Sorchestrates the Gut Microbiome to Mobilize a Host‐Derived 12‐HEPE Against Ulcerative Colitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A sulfated polysaccharide (SCP) from Cyclocarya paliurus alleviates ulcerative colitis by reshaping the gut microbiome. This remodeled microbiota orchestrates the upregulation of the host‐derived lipid 12‐HEPE, which directly inhibits the TLR4/NF‐κB pathway to suppress inflammation.

Single‐Cell Reveal GALNT7‐Dependent Ferroptosis Suppression as a Mechanism of Immunotherapy Resistance in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated clinical and mechanistic analyses identify GALNT7 as a ferroptosis‐suppressive regulator associated with immunotherapy resistance in non‐small cell lung cancer. GALNT7 depletion promotes lipid peroxidation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and ferroptosis, enhances CD8+ T‐cell activation and IFN‐γ production, and sensitizes tumors to PD‐1 blockade,

T2T Genome Assembly and Multi‐Omics Data Reveal Terrestrial Adaptation and Mucus Biosynthesis in Tropical Leatherleaf Slug (Laevicaulis alte)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A gap‐free genome assembly and multi‐omics comparison of the terrestrial slug Laevichaulis alte with an aquatic relative reveal that expansion of the VEGF family orchestrates mucus production, lipid metabolism, and immune defense—highlighting key molecular innovations for conquering life on land.
