Thermodynamic Limits to Molecular Doping in Conjugated Polymers: A Perspective on Phase Behavior and Miscibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

High‐Performance Bio‐Glue From the Berries of a Parasitic Plant

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a fully bio‐based adhesive derived primarily from a (poly)saccharide extract obtained from the berries of the hemi‐parasitic plant mistletoe (Viscum album), supplemented with tannic and malic acid without any further chemical functionalization.

Fruit Morphology of Red Raspberry and Its Relationship to Fruit Strength

open access: yesHortScience, 1989
Abstract Morphological characteristics of whole red raspberry fruit (weight, density), drupelets (height, diameter, number), receptacle cavities (depth, diameter), and pits (individual weight) were measured three times in 1983 on five cultivars of red raspberry ( Rubus idaeus

Cysteine Redox State Governs the Condensation Pathway of Hendra Virus W Protein and Differentially Impacts Type I IFN and NF‐κB Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The cysteine redox state of the Hendra virus W (WHeV) protein controls assembly into fibrils or amorphous aggregates, with residues 2–29 required for fibrillation. In cells, WHeV forms different types of nuclear condensates. Impaired ability to form redox‐sensitive, non‐filamentous condensates reduces WHeV inhibition of the NF‐κB pathway, while it ...
