A comparison of three redundancy resolution methods [PDF]
The report performs an analytical comparison of three redundancy resolution methods developed by researchers at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory that obtain solutions for the joint velocities for a redundant manipulator based on its kinematic velocity model with an (m x n) Jacobian matrix of full rank m(< n): (i) the Input Relegation Control (IRC ...

ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

Retractions in Rheumatology: Trends, Causes, and Implications for Research Integrity
Objective We aimed to describe the trends and main reasons for study retraction in rheumatology literature. Methods We reviewed the Retraction Watch database to identify retracted articles in rheumatology. We recorded the main study characteristics, authors’ countries, reasons for retraction, time from publication to retraction, and trends over time ...

Characterization and control of self-motions in redundant manipulators [PDF]
The presence of redundant degrees of freedom in a manipulator structure leads to a physical phenomenon known as a self-motion, which is a continuous motion of the manipulator joints that leaves the end-effector motionless. In the first part of the paper,

Partial Quantifier Elimination By Certificate Clauses
We study partial quantifier elimination (PQE) for propositional CNF formulas. In contrast to full quantifier elimination, in PQE, one can limit the set of clauses taken out of the scope of quantifiers to a small subset of target clauses.

MaxSAT resolution with inclusion redundancy
Popular redundancy rules for SAT are not necessarily sound for MaxSAT. The works of [Bonacina-Bonet-Buss-Lauria’24] and [Ihalainen-Berg-Järvisalo’22] proposed ways to adapt them, but required specific encodings and more sophisticated checks during proof verification. Here, we propose a different way to adapt redundancy rules from SAT to MaxSAT.
