Matrix Stiffness Induces Endothelial Network Senescence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using a 3D human in vitro model that decouples mechanical stress from inflammatory or biochemical signals, matrix stiffening induces a senescence phenotype in endothelial networks. This mechano‐induced senescence activates Notch signaling, and pharmacologic Notch inhibition attenuates this stiffness‐induced senescence.

Robust Flatness Tracking Control for the “DC/DC Buck Converter-DC Motor” System: Renewable Energy-Based Power Supply

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
The design of a robust flatness-based tracking control for the DC/DC Buck converter-DC motor system is developed in this paper. The design of the control considers the dynamics of a renewable energy power source that plays the role of the primary power ...

Behavioral Coping With Food Price Inflation: Patterns Among U.S. Households

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent food price inflation has placed substantial pressure on household budgets, food security, and mental well‐being. Using Household Pulse Survey data, we combine k‐modes clustering and Double Machine Learning to identify distinct household coping groups and examine differences in how households respond to rising food prices across groups ...

Owning Home, Finding Belonging: Relational Meanings of Homeownership for Migrant Healthcare Workers in Australia

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Migrant healthcare workers in Australia find themselves at the centre of three intersecting concerns, often presented as ‘crises’ in contemporary discourse: the ‘care crisis’, the ‘housing crisis’ and the ‘migration crisis.’ Yet their own perspectives on these issues are rarely foregrounded. This paper explores the role of homeownership in the

Carbon-Supported Platinum Molybdenum Electro-Catalysts and Their Electro-Activity Toward Ethanol Oxidation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2011
We synthesized and studied a series of carbon-supported PtMo catalysts with a 20% metal loading as active phase. The analysis was made with three atomic ratios in the active phase, Pt-Mo: 1-1, 7-3 and 3-1.
