Lesões de isquemia e reperfusão no intestino de eqüinos: fisiopatologia e terapêutica Intestinal ischemia-reperfusion injury in horses: pathophysiology and therapeutics

open access: yesCiência Rural, 2000
O abdome agudo constitui a principal causa de óbito em eqüinos, sendo que dentre as suas etiologias são freqüentes as afecções acompanhadas de isquemia e reperfusão (IR) no intestino.

Myocardial infarct-sparing effect of ischemic preconditioning abrogated in cirrhotic rat through involvement of mitochondrial permeability transition pore [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Despite all studies undertaken mechanism of cirrhotic cardiomyopathy the role of cirrhosis on ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury and ischemic preconditioning (IPC) phenomenon hasn't been explored yet.

Reduction of myocardial infarction by calpain inhibitors A-705239 and A-705253 in isolated perfused rabbit hearts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Two novel calpain inhibitors (A-705239 and A-705253) were studied in isolated perfused rabbit hearts subjected to 60-min occlusion of the ramus interventricularis of the left coronary artery (below the origin of the first diagonal branch), followed by ...

PAF Triggered Pyroptotic NETosis Aggravates Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Platelet activating factor (PAF) secreted by cardiomyocytes during MI/R, drives NETs formation and subsequent NETosis. PAF/NETosis signaling activation is an initiative and causal factor in driving MI/R injury. This study identifies dapagliflozin as a potent NETosis inhibitor, and demonstrates that manipulating PAF‐NETosis signal by dapagliflozin or ...

Danshensu for Myocardial Ischemic Injury: Preclinical Evidence and Novel Methodology of Quality Assessment Tool

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2018
Background: Danshensu (DSS) possesses unique bioactivity on the cardiovascular system. However, there is a lack of systematical summary of DSS for acute myocardial ischemia injury and no quality assessment tool for the systematical review of cell ...

Decoding the Cardiac Immune Microenvironment and Fibroblast Crosstalk in Radiotherapy Combined with Immunotherapy‐Induced Cardiac Fibrosis Based on Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study highlights that radioimmunotherapy drives crosstalk between fibroblasts and immune cells (especially macrophages) in the cardiac microenvironment, with IL‐6 as the key mediator, and tocilizumab alleviates cardiac fibrosis by targeting this interplay.

Emergency Ultra-Deep Hypothermia in Cardiac Arrest Induced by Blood Loss (Experimental Study on Nonhuman Primates)

open access: yesОбщая реаниматология
The survival rate of critically injured individuals with severe blood loss and cardiac arrest is close to zero.Aim. To evaluate the feasibility of using emergency ultra-deep hypothermia (EUDH) in an experimental model of cardiac arrest induced by blood ...

Elevated TRIM25 Impairs Poly (ADP‐ribose) Metabolism via PARG Degradation and Mediates Compression‐Induced Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRIM25 acts as a multifunctional hub driving intervertebral disc degeneration under mechanical stress. Mechanical compression significantly upregulates TRIM25 expression, establishing it as a key E3 ubiquitin ligase platform. TRIM25 targets PARG and Ku80 via distinct molecular interfaces, triggering their ubiquitination and degradation.
