Rigour in interpretive qualitative research in education: Ideas to think with

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract There has been a proliferation of qualitative approaches to researching education. While this has resulted in the construction of a rich tapestry of knowledge about education, it has also resulted in disparate research ideas, processes and practices, and created tensions relating to what constitutes rigorous qualitative research in education ...

Ubiquitin C‐Terminal Hydrolase L1 (UCHL1), Beyond Hydrolysis

open access: yesBioEssays, EarlyView.
UCHL1 is a neuron‐enriched component of the ubiquitin‐proteasome system. This review debates the biological relevance of its biochemical roles: limited DUB activity, potential ligase function, and mono‐ubiquitin stabilization. We emphasize the need to clarify the mechanisms and identify natural substrates for each function to understand their role in ...

Enrichment of Full AAV2 Using Multicolumn Countercurrent Solvent Gradient Purification (MCSGP)

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
The multicolumn countercurrent solvent gradient purification (MCSGP) method was evaluated as a method to enhance the separation of empty and full capsids during AAV2 purification. The results demonstrated an enrichment of full AAV2 particles using MCSGP.
