Index Mutual Fund Replication [PDF]
This chapter discusses the application of an index tracking technique to mutual fund replication problems. By using a tracking error (TE) minimization method and two tactical rebalancing strategies (i.e. the calendar based strategy and the tolerance triggered strategy), a multiperiod fund tracking model is developed that replicates S&P 500 mutual fund ...

Background Due to their bi-directional replication machinery starting from a single finite origin, bacterial genomes show characteristic nucleotide compositional bias between the two replichores, which can be visualised through GC skew or (C-G)/(C+G ...

Using Cubic Splines in Crop Insurance Models – A Replication Study [PDF]
This study replicates the work of Bucheli et al. (2022) to evaluate the reliability and generalizability of their findings on the use of cubic spline methods in weather index insurance design in Eastern Germany. The study consists of two parts: a direct

Leveraged funds: robust replication and performance evaluation [PDF]
Leveraged and inverse exchange-traded funds seek daily returns equal to fixed multiples of indexes’ returns, but the ensuing rebalancing costs create a tension between a high correlation with the index and a low average deviation from the leveraged index’

The cytogenetic effects of black tea and green tea on cultured human lymphocytes
In this study, the cytogenetic effects of black tea and green tea were determined in cultured peripheral blood lymphocytes. Results showed that black tea and green tea induced the mitotic and replication indexes and decreased micronuclei.

In vitro cytogenetic effects of Hypericum heterophyllum in human peripheral blood lymphocytes
Hypericum species have been used in traditional medicine in Turkey for thousands of years. In order to determine the cytogenetic effects of Hypericum heterophyllum, human lymphocytes were incubated with the aqueous extracts. Mitotic index frequencies and
