Plasma extrachromosomal circular DNA as a biomarker in EGFR‐targeted therapy of non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

Requirements Engineering Quality: a Literature Review

open access: yesJurnal Nasional Pendidikan Teknik Informatika (JANAPATI)
Requirements Engineering Quality (REQ) has a large influence on the success of a software project. A systematic literature review (SLR) is conducted to get complete information about REQ.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Model-Based Requirements Management in Gear Systems Design Based On Graph-Based Design Languages

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2017
For several decades, a wide-spread consensus concerning the enormous importance of an in-depth clarification of the specifications of a product has been observed. A weak clarification of specifications is repeatedly listed as a main cause for the failure

User-oriented requirements engineering [PDF]

open access: yes2014 IEEE 2nd International Workshop on Usability and Accessibility Focused Requirements Engineering (UsARE), 2014
A method for analysing emotion and motivation in requirements engineering (RE) is described. The method extends personal RE where requirements are for individual users and their needs. Theories from the psychology of emotion and motivation are introduced and applied in a top-down pathway motivated by system goals to influence users, and a bottom-up ...

In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

BERT Fine-Tuning for Software Requirement Classification: Impact of Model Components and Dataset Size

open access: yesInformation
Recent advances in natural language processing (NLP) have enabled the automation of Software Requirements Classification (SRC), particularly through fine-tuning models such as Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERTs).
