A Framework for Systematic Refinement of Trustworthiness Requirements

open access: yesInformation, 2017
The trustworthiness of systems that support complex collaborative business processes is an emergent property. In order to address users’ trust concerns, trustworthiness requirements of software systems must be elicited and satisfied.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

BERT Fine-Tuning for Software Requirement Classification: Impact of Model Components and Dataset Size

open access: yesInformation
Recent advances in natural language processing (NLP) have enabled the automation of Software Requirements Classification (SRC), particularly through fine-tuning models such as Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERTs).

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

BPMN diagram dataset: Comprehensive collection of functional requirements

open access: yesData in Brief
The dataset in this paper explains the functional requirements in the form of Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) diagrams from three software applications: employee cooperative, store, and mini hospital. Data were collected from clients or owners
