Dual-Band Metamaterial Microwave Absorber using Ring and Circular Patch with Slits
This paper proposes a dual-band metamaterial microwave absorber operating at 2.5 GHz and 5.8 GHz. The absorber consists of a ring and a circular patch with slits resonator structures printed on a FR4 dielectric substrate backed by a ground layer.

Resonances and Symmetries [PDF]
In baryon phenomenology we discuss mainly a recent paper paper by G. H. Trilling on SU(3) tests. He shows that SU(3) predictions relating cross sections can be greatly improved by the introduction of angular momentum barrier penetration coefficients, as is already routine when making SU(3) classifications of resonances.Under mesons we discuss ππ and Kπ

We investigated the toxicity of 12 active compounds commonly found in herbal weight loss supplements (WLS) using human liver and colon cell models. Epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate was the only compound showing significant toxicity. Metabolic profiling revealed protein degradation, disrupted energy and lipid metabolism suggesting that the inclusion of EGCG ...

Control of critical coupling in a ring resonator fiber configuration: application to wavelength-selective switching, modulation, amplification, and oscillation [PDF]
By controlling the internal loss of a ring resonator near critical coupling, we demonstrate control of the transmitted power in a fiber that is coupled to the resonator.

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

The Case for Procopiu’s Quantum [PDF]
The general traits of the Planck’s quantization procedure for the case of light are considered. The Procopiu’s quantization is presented as a result of this quantization procedure, only applied not to light, but to matter structures.
