Multimodal Imaging of Subfoveal Pachydrusen Containing a Blood Flow Signal
Individuals with pachydrusen, larger than 125 μm, have a significantly thicker choroid than do those with soft drusen or reticular pseudodrusen. Little is known about cases of abnormal blood flow within pachydrusen.

Imaging Characteristics of Reticular Pseudodrusen.
Reticular pseudodrusen appear as faint, yellowish, interlacing networks along the arcades on color fundus images (top left) and as light interlacing networks on red-free imaging (top right).

Longitudinal Structure/Function Analysis in Reticular Pseudodrusen
To describe longitudinal structure/function correlations in eyes with progressive reticular pseudodrusen (RPD).Thirteen eyes of 12 patients with exclusively RPD in the posterior pole were included (75.1 ± 5.7 years). All patients underwent spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT), confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (cSLO), and ...

Abstract Purpose To evaluate patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs) and visual function across four groups of public cataract patients: emmetropia, mini‐monovision, monovision with partial‐range of field (RoF) narrow intraocular lenses (IOLs) and patients implanted with partial‐RoF extended IOLs.

Neovascular age‐related macular degeneration without drusen
Abstract Purpose To describe the clinical characteristics and 1‐year follow‐up of patients with neovascular AMD (nAMD) without drusen in either eye. Methods This is a multicentre retrospective cohort study in three tertiary referral centres in The Netherlands. We included patients of 55 years or older with nAMD in one or both eyes, without the presence

Case series: The value of fundus autofluorescence in inherited macular disease
ABSTRACT Purpose To evaluate the diagnostic utility of fundus autofluorescence (FAF) imaging in identifying and characterizing phenotypically classified inherited macular dystrophies. In this way, we aim to provide methods by which eye care practitioners can link FAF imaging and other clinical results or imaging modalities to aid their clinical ...

Risk factors associated with reticular pseudodrusen versus large soft drusen
PURPOSE: To investigate genetic, environmental, and systemic risk factors in prospectively identified subjects with the age-related macular degeneration (AMD) phenotypes of (1) reticular pseudodrusen without large soft drusen and (2) large soft drusen ...
