Glaucoma is increasingly understood as a neurodegenerative disorder shaped by sleep and circadian physiology, not intraocular pressure alone. Sleep loss and obstructive sleep apnea suppress BDNF–TrkB neurotrophic signaling, impair sleep‐dependent glymphatic clearance, and trigger microglial neuroinflammation and vascular insult at the optic nerve head,

A synergistic effect among the electrocatalytic Ru/TiON‐GO nanocomposite, biorecognition elements, and the [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− redox probe for highly sensitive and selective impedimetric detection of PSA protein in human serum was demonstrated. The immunosensor exhibited a limit of detection of only 0.06 ng mL−1 PSA protein, underscoring the importance and ...

REV-ERBα regulates Fgf21 expression in the liver via hepatic nuclear factor 6
The circadian clock contributes to the timing of many body functions including metabolism and reproduction. The hepatokine fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) is a critical metabolic regulator involved in modulation of fertility.

Silver nanowires (AgNWs) catalyze CO2 reduction into CO with high selectivity both in the three‐electrode cell and in the zero‐gap electrolyzer. While catalytic currents and selectivity are stable over hours, the AgNW shape undergoes restructuring and its surface chemistry changes.

Identification of Rev-erbα as a physiological repressor of apoC-III gene transcription1
Elevated serum levels of triglyceride-rich remnant lipoproteins (TRL) are a major risk factor predisposing a subject to atherosclerosis. Apolipoprotein C-III (apoC-III) is a major constituent of TRL that impedes triglyceride hydrolysis and remnant ...

This study reports the synthesis of bio‐based nonisocyanate polyhydroxyurethanes from crude lignins and depolymerized lignin oligomers. The structure–properties relationships were largely explored and highlighted the key role of lignin functionality on the physical properties of the materials. Lignins are the main source of aromatic compounds in nature.

Investigating the Direct Use of Manganese‐Rich Mixed‐Olivine Cathode in Sodium Battery
Electrochemically driven Li+/Na+ ion exchange enables the direct use of Li‐based LMFP in Na‐metal cells. Operando/ex situ XAS and PXRD reveal the progressive transformation from LMFP to Na‐triphylite NMFP during cycling. The resulting sodium‐based phase exhibits stable electrochemical performance and compatibility with safer polymer‐electrolyte Na ...

Rev-erbs and Glia—Implications for Neurodegenerative Diseases
Recently, we described a role for the circadian clock protein and nuclear receptor Rev-erbα in regulating glial activation states in the brain. Deletion of Rev-erbα resulted in microglial as well as astrocytic activation, while a Rev-erbα agonist ...

Potent Therapeutic Insights From Eryngium campestre: Phytochemical Profiling and In Vitro Evaluation
The phytochemical profiles and biological activity of ethyl acetate, ethanol, ethanol‐water, and water extracts of Eryngium campestre were assessed. E. campestre is a prospective source of multifunctional bioactive chemicals for food and nutraceutical uses, as demonstrated by the extracts' potential antioxidant, enzyme‐inhibitory, anticancer ...
