Characterization of color cross-talk of CCD detectors and its influence in multispectral quantitative phase imaging [PDF]
Multi-spectral quantitative phase imaging (QPI) is an emerging imaging modality for wavelength dependent studies of several biological and industrial specimens. Simultaneous multi-spectral QPI is generally performed with color CCD cameras. However, color

Robust odometry estimation for RGB-D cameras [PDF]
The goal of our work is to provide a fast and accurate method to estimate the camera motion from RGB-D images. Our approach registers two consecutive RGB-D frames directly upon each other by minimizing the photometric error. We estimate the camera motion using non-linear minimization in combination with a coarse-to-fine scheme.

Generalized Convolutional Neural Networks for Point Cloud Data
The introduction of cheap RGB-D cameras, stereo cameras, and LIDAR devices has given the computer vision community 3D information that conventional RGB cameras cannot provide. This data is often stored as a point cloud.

Deep Depth Completion of a Single RGB-D Image
The goal of our work is to complete the depth channel of an RGB-D image. Commodity-grade depth cameras often fail to sense depth for shiny, bright, transparent, and distant surfaces.

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.
