Anticancer Effects of Ginsenoside Rh2: A Systematic Review
Current Molecular Pharmacology, 2021Background: As one of the effective pharmacological constituents of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, ginsenoside Rh2 (Rh2) exerts a remarkable anticancer effect on various cancer cell lines in vitro and strongly inhibits tumor growth in vivo without severe toxicity. Objective: This article reviewed existing evidence supporting the anticancer effects of Rh2

Asymmetric, redox-active carbonyl complexes with [Rh2]2+, [Rh2]3+, and [Rh2]4+ cores
Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1987The [Rh2]2+ complex [Rh2(CO)2(bipy)(µ-RNNNR)2](2, bipy = 2,2′-bipyridyl, R =p-tolyl) is the precursor to asymmetric, redox-active [Rh2]3+ and [Rh2]4+ derivatives such as [Rh2(CO)L(bipy)(µ-RNNNR)2]z(3+, L = PPh3, z= 1; 4, L = I, z= 0) and [Rh2(CO)(S2CNMe2)(piby)(µ-RNNNR)2][PF6](5) respectively.

In a spectroscopic investigation of jet-cooled Rh2 by the resonant two-photon ionization method, an abrupt predissociation threshold is observed in a dense set of vibronic levels at 19 405±4 cm−1. Based on the high density of states expected in the rhodium dimer, the sharp definition of the predissociation threshold that is observed, and the validation

Anticancer property of ginsenoside Rh2 from ginseng
European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2020Ginseng has been used as a well-known traditional Chinese medicine since ancient times. Ginsenosides as its main active constituents possess a broad scope of pharmacological properties including stimulating immune function, enhancing cardiovascular health, increasing resistance to stress, improving memory and learning, developing social functioning and

The uptake and metabolism of ginsenoside Rh2 (Rh2) by B16 melanoma cells were studied. In a medium containing 2% fetal calf serum, the uptake of Rh2 reached a maximum of 3 nmol/10(6) cells at 3-6 h after Rh2 (12.5 microM) was added, but gradually decreased to 0.8 nmol/10(6) cells.

Computational comparison of Rh2(esp)2 and Rh2(O2CH)4 as catalysts in a carbenoid reaction
Tetrahedron Letters, 2010A computational study of Rh2(esp)2-catalysed cyclopropanation of styrene with ethyl bromodiazoacetate is presented. The calculated structures and the energy profile of the reaction show a high level of similarity between Rh2(esp)2, a catalyst with sizeable, tethered ligands, and the simplified model catalyst Rh2(O2CH)4.

Treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence by Ginsenoside Rh2
The American Journal of Chinese Medicine, 2014Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common disorder in middle-aged women and the elderly. Although surgical treatment of SUI has progressed, there are no effective pharmacological therapies without a side effect. We studied the effect of ginsenoside Rh2 against SUI.
