Advances in Ginsenoside Rh2 and Its Derivatives
World Science and Technology, 2012Abstract Ginsenoside Rh2, one of the characteristic components in red ginseng (roots steamed at 98-100 °C without peeling), is a rare ginsenoside with potential bioactivity. The preparation of ginsenoside Rh2 was studied by using acid hydrolysis, alkaline hydrolysis, synthesis and biotransformation techniques.

Rh/sub 2/(CO)/sub 2/Cl/sub 2/(dppm)/sub 2/ (dppm = (Ph/sub 2/P)/sub 2/CH/sub 2/) reacts with 1 equiv of PhICl/sub 2/ in a dilute CH/sub 2/Cl solution to yield Rh/sub 2/(CO)/sub 2/Cl/sub 4/ (dppm)/sub 2/ (1), which was characterized in solution by ir and /sup 31/P(/sup 1/H) NMR spectroscopies.

NMR of 165Ho in Ho:(Gd1−xCex)Rh2
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1992Abstract The effect of Ce substitution on the resonance properties of 165Ho in Ho:(Gd1−xCex)Rh2 has been investigated and the available data are used to explain the variation of the Ho hf parameters with Ce concentration.

Theoretical studies of the interaction of butadiene with Rh and Rh2
Chemical Physics Letters, 1998Abstract Butadiene–Rh and –Rh 2 complexes have been studied using the density functional (DFT) and Moller–Plesset (MP2 and MP4) calculations. For the butadiene–Rh complex complete active space multiconfiguration self-consistent field method (CASMCSCF) followed by multireference singles and doubles (MRSDCI) calculations were employed.

Research Progress on the Antitumor Molecular Mechanism of Ginsenoside Rh2
The American Journal of Chinese MedicineCancer has evolved into a substantial public health concern as the second-leading cause of mortality globally. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy have been the two most widely used cancer therapies in recent years; however, both have drawbacks. Therefore, the focus has shifted to the creation of herbal medicines, the extraction of active ingredients ...

Abstract The reaction of [Rh2(OAc)4] with adenine, 9-methyladenine, 9-ethylguanine, adenosine, guanosine, deoxyguanosine, or inosine in methanolic aqueous solution at room temperature gave specifically and quantitatively pink complexes of adenine or its derivatives (=L), [Rh2(OAc)4(L)] (the dirhodium-core:L ratio of 1:1). The reaction of [Rh2(HNOCCF3)

Optical spectroscopy of Cr3+ and Rh2+ in sodium-betaalumina
Journal of Luminescence, 1987Abstract Ion exchange techniques were used to substitute Cr 3+ and Rh 2+ ions for the sodium ions present in sodium-beta″-alumina single crystals. The optical absorption and fluorescence spectra were obtained and the fluorescence lifetimes measured for both types of samples.

Specific heat of (Cel-cGdc)Rh2 compounds
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 1992Abstract The series (Ce1-cGdc)Rh2 has been investigated by means of specific heat measurements. At the CeRh2 end of the series the substitution of gadolinium for cerium reduces the τ value. At c=0.12 the system enters into a spin-glass-like magnetic phase.

The rhodium diacetate complexes with dioxane Rh2(OAc)4(Diox)2 (I) and dimethyl sulfoxide Rh2(OAc)4(Dmso)2 (II) have been synthesized by dissolving rhodium diacetate [Rh2(OAc)4] in dioxane (Diox) and dimethyl sulfoxide (Dmso) with the further slow evaporation of the solvent.
