Extraction of Rutin and Rhoifolin by Inorganic Borate Functionalized Magnetic Particles

Chinese Journal of Chemistry, 2016
AbstractWe demonstrate a facile approach for smart time‐saving extraction of active components of rutin and rhoifolin by a new kind of magnetic particles (MPs). The inorganic borate functionalized magnetic particles are quasi‐spherical with an average diameter of 200–220 nm.

Antioxidant and Enzyme Inhibitory Activities of Rhoifolin Flavonoid: In Vitro and in Silico Studies

Chemistry & Biodiversity, 2023
AbstractRhoifolin (apigenin‐7‐O‐β‐neohesperidoside) belongs to the class of flavonoids and was reported to exhibit anti‐inflammatory, cytotoxic, antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, and cardioprotective activities. The current study presents the in‐vitro evaluation of the antioxidative effects of rhoifolin by many assays, namely DPPH, CUPRAC, ABTS ...

Structural elucidation of a novel transglycosylated compound α-glucosyl rhoifolin and of α-glucosyl rutin by NMR spectroscopy

Carbohydrate Research, 2017
We report the full assignment of 1H and 13C NMR signals belonging to α-glucosyl rhoifolin (Rhf-G), a novel transglycosylated compound synthesized from a flavone glycoside, rhoifolin, as well as its chemical structure. Furthermore, we report the complete NMR signal assignment for another transglycosylated compound, α-glucosyl rutin (Rutin-G), as the ...

Ameliorative Effect of Rhoifolin in Cisplatin-Induced Nephrotoxicity via Regulating Nuclear Factor-κB Pathway

Current Topics in Nutraceutical Research, 2020
Dose-dependent nephrotoxicity limits the therapeutic use of cisplatin in tumor chemotherapy. Natural compounds show a protective effect against cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity. Rhoifolin is a flavone glycoside that demonstrates antioxidant and antiproliferative effects.

Rhoifolin ameliorates titanium particle‐stimulated osteolysis and attenuates osteoclastogenesis via RANKL‐induced NF‐κB and MAPK pathways

Journal of Cellular Physiology, 2019
AbstractProsthesis loosening is a highly troublesome clinical problem following total joint arthroplasty. Wear‐particle‐induced osteoclastogenesis has been shown to be the primary cause of periprosthetic osteolysis that eventually leads to aseptic prosthesis loosening.

Production of rhoifolin and tiliroside from callus cultures of Chorisia chodatii and Chorisia speciosa

Phytochemistry Letters, 2015
Abstract The current work aims to stimulate the production of rhoifolin and tiliroside as two valuable phytochemicals from Chorisia chodatii Hassl. and Chorisia speciosa A. St.-Hil. callus cultures. A comparison between three explants from the in vitro germinated seedlings of both species for callus induction and accumulation of both flavonoids was ...

Rhoifolin, a new flavone glycoside, isolated from the leaves of Rhus succedanea

Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, 1952
Abstract 1. 1. Rhoifolin, a new natural glycoside of apigenin, has been obtained from the green leaves of Rhus succedanea . 2. 2. Rhoifolin has been shown to be an apigenin-7-rhamnoglucoside. It apparently is identical with the apigenin-7-rhamnoglucoside obtained by the bromination and dehydrobromination of naringin.
