Breeding New F-1 Tomato Hybrids of rin Genotype [PDF]
Serbian local tomato market prefers big fruit weight 200 gr., and long shelf life. Slow ripening and long shelf-life of tomato fruits are traits controlled by several ripening inhibitor genes (nor-non ripening, nr- never ripe, rin-ripening inhibitor, alc-

α-Mannosidase (α-Man), a fruit ripening-specific N-glycan processing enzyme, is involved in ripening-associated fruit softening process. However, the regulation of fruit-ripening specific expression of α-Man is not well understood. We have identified and

Brain Relatively Inert Network: Taking Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as an Example
Resting-state functional MRI (rs-fMRI) has been increasingly applied in the research of brain cognitive science and psychiatric diseases. However, previous studies only focused on specific activation areas of the brain, and there are few studies on the ...

Cigarette smoke accelerates the aging of immune cells in the lung. By combining human single‐cell sequencing, cell culture, and mouse models, the authors show that the protein GEM drives mitochondrial damage and senescence in alveolar macrophages by suppressing SIRT3.

Impedance of Nonelectroneutral Solid Electrolyte Interphases With Nanopores: A Theoretical Model
Physical modeling reveals that often‐neglected non‐electroneutrality and nanopores in the solid‐electrolyte interphase (SEI) govern the impedance behavior. Under nonreactive conditions, the low‐frequency constant‐phase element (CPE) phenomenon can be attributed to the nonelectroneutral local conditions in the SEI.

This study reveals that Alzheimer's disease–linked APP expression in bone‐forming cells drives skull bone marrow remodeling and alters its vascular connections to the brain. These changes disrupt immune cell trafficking, cerebral blood flow, and cognition. Targeting bone marrow macrophages restores brain function, highlighting a previously unrecognized

Relative intensity noise of temperature-stable, energy-efficient 980 nm VCSELs
The relative intensity noise (RIN) of temperature-stable, energy-efficient oxide confined vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) have been investigated. Low energy consumption data transmission is achieved by using small oxide-aperture diameter
